"Well, you DO have a good 24 hours at home next week" my supervisor points out as though I'm being demanding.
Serious? 'Fraid so.

I knew things were getting bad last week when I walked myself over to the Popeye's Fried Chicken from my hotel in a bad part of town in Killeen, Texas. Aw hell, who are we kidding? Killeen *is* a bad part of town. I found myself thinking almost optimistically about the prospects for getting abducted by someone or something scary. Thinking that it would keep me from a repeat of my 14 hour shift the next day. That I found the idea of some mishap infinitely preferable.

And it really only got worse from there.
I gave my 2 weeks today, now I'm just wondering if I can really, really take 10 more days in Houston.

The two weeks only serves to allow me to be reconsidered for hire at a later date.

As if.

"...a good 24 hours..."

Yeah, Cake, what're you complaining about? You've got one whole day! (rolling eyes)

I'm sorry too. No one can say you haven't given it a damn good try.

Eeeew! Get away from this and find something that lets people see how awesome you are!

You deserve so much better!

I thought about you when I was flying this week. Even though I was on United, I thought how cool it would be if you were working that flight. :)

Sorry this didn't work out ... ditto what everyone else said ... you gave it your best!
